Dairy-free Lunch/Snack Ideas

Okay so a little while ago I made a Dairy-free Breakfast Ideas post and you guys seemed to  really love it so here’s a little dairy-free lunch/snack inspo! Also, on that last dairy-free post I included a little backstory on why I cut dairy out of my diet so if you are interested in learning why I chose to do so i’ll leave it here.

Here are some of my dairy-free lunch/snack favorites!

Chicken Wraps

Chicken + Whole Grain Wraps + Spinach + Hummus + Olive Oil/Vinegar

So I originally made these for dinner one night and ended up eating the leftovers the next day for lunch and I completely fell in love. They didn’t really fill me up too much for dinner so if I do have them for dinner I’ll add extra veggies or have them with sweet potato fries. But you guys, I love these for a quick lunch!  They are super quick to make and you can prep them so easily for the week as well!

Berry Kale Smoothie

Strawberry + Blueberry + Blackberry + Pineapple + Mango + Kale + Chia Seeds + Apple Juice

I love adding plant based protein to my diet any chance that I get and combining kale and chia seeds provides complete protein! I love it even better when I don’t even taste the kale too, lol. Seriously so good, and I HAVE to add mango to every smoothie because I’m a texture person and it just makes it so smooth! Don’t judge😂🙌

Peanut Butter and Jelly

Multi-grain Bread + Peanut Butter + Fruit Spread

Probably the easiest lunch ever. I will never get tired of pb&j. I love to use organic fruit spread over jelly because usually they usually have a ton less sugar and the one that I use is sweetened with fruit juice instead. I get mine from Trader Joe’s and they have SO many different kinds and they aren’t too expensive either.

Veggie Pasta

Vegetable-based Pasta + Avocado Oil + Bell Pepper + Spinach + Mushroom + Garlic + Salt/Pepper

Sounds like a lot but it’s actually super simple if you get frozen veggies lol (even simpler if you grab a bag of mixed veggies instead). Sometimes I’ll add chicken if I feel like I need a little extra protein that day but I prefer it without. I love meal prepping this and sticking it in the fridge/freezer for the week. I actually like it chilled better so I just grab it out of the fridge and I’m good to go👍

Pita/Veggies with Hummus

Hummus + Pita Chips + Veggies

A couple of easy stables to keep in the house. I’ve been on a huge carrot kick lately so I have this with carrots, but it’s honestly good with any type of vegetable! If you have a food processor it’s also super simple (and cheap) to make your own hummus. And, in my opinion, it’s fun to customize it🙌.

These are just a handful of my favorites however, as always, I love to hear what you guys think or if you have anything that I must try!

  1. Great ideas! The veggie pasta sounds delicious, and I’ve never used avocado oil. I’ll have to look for it on our next grocery trip. My husband is vegetarian, so I’m always looking for good veggie meal ideas. Veggies, pita and hummus is a favorite of mine, too!

  2. Veggie and hummus all in! So good! I’m still trying to learn how to do hummus myself. But I’m in the right part of the world to have someone do it way better than me…for me 🙂

  3. I needed to see this! I’ve been anti-dairy since becoming pregnant with twins and it has me going crazy because I love cheese and milk. Smoothies are my go-to! Definitely going to try some of these! ❤
